Fermenting Vegetables: Easy and Healthy

In this introductory workshop, you will learn how to make sauerkraut and pickles!
As part of the workshop, you will see a sauerkraut demonstration, and you will make your own jar of fermented veggies to take home!
You’ll become equipped with tips and guidelines for fermenting, and adding fermented foods in to your diet
Learn about the history, science, and the benefits of consuming fermented vegetables
You’ll even get to sample a variety of fermented foods, and take recipes for making some of your own!
